A Sketch captures with a few strokes the movement and character of an object, putting in only the most necessary accents. This is the starting point for my bird sculptures. They are sculptures not modelled as a solid sculpture but as a sketch, a game between movements and accents, between the empty space and the bronze.
It is not the duty of art to copy the nature, but to express it.
